I had my first shot almost two weeks ago. The only side affect was the sore arm in the morning for sleeping on my shot side. After sitting up and having a cup of coffee and it was gone. That last three days. They say, the 2nd shot can kick you in the butt.

Hop you get over the side effects soon. Don't let the asshats get you down.

The company I work for has arranged, through the county health department, that employees can sign up for a shot if they want it. My first will be next Thursday (25th), I'll keep you posted on side effects/ manufacturer etc.

I've completed both doses of the Moderna. The first dose made me a little nauseous but absolutely no problem with the second dose. You will definitely have a sore arm !

Hope you feel better soon

I had "0" side effect from either of my shots excepting slight soreness at the injection site. MY son the MD told me that younger folks have more and worse side effects in general because us "old people's" immune systems aren't strong enough to provoke more sever side effects. He was laid up in bed for 2 days after his second injection, maybe it was just a thirty something reaction, lol. So maybe your lingering symptoms are a sign of good immunity, "at least you've got that going for you" to paraphrase Bill Murray.

Good that you've got your 2nd shot.
I think the side effects are a small price to pay for the protection.

I felt every millimeter of that needle Actually the only residue is the sore bicep when I try to lift it past my shoulder. As I continue to raise it, the pain increases.
I should mention that I popped my vaccine cherry yesterday

I got the Pfizer edition. The place dispenses both version depending on the day of the week. I'm not sure why because they were exclusively Moderna since the beginning and only in the last 5 weeks or so, made the change.
It wasn't hesitancy on my part for the delay...just couldn't get the appointment. Today, there's a lot less pain when lifting my arm above my head. I can actually reach the sky.

I had no side effects from both shots of Moderna. When I worked for NYC they would give the employees free flu shots on the Friday before Columbus Day(Canadian Thanksgiving) so if you have a reaction you have an extra day to recover.

The shot has to be given into the muscle. Given incorrectly it could be ineffective or cause arm pain that lasts longer.
