It's hard when it comes that time for a pet. I know as my Siamese passed over the Rainbow Bridge I was devastated. You're a good sister

Sometimes you have to remind adult males that John Wayne died nearly 50 years ago and that it is now okay to cry. I recommend you see Wayne's last film The Shootist. It is about a gunslinger dying of cancer. Wayne was not, as sometimes reported and I thought, terminally ill when the film was made in 1976. A heavy cigarette smoker for most of his life, he had been diagnosed with lung cancer in 1964 and underwent surgical removal of his left lung and several ribs. He remained clinically cancer-free until early 1979, when metastases were discovered in his stomach, intestines, and spine; he died in June of that year.[7] Nonetheless

It was hard to put my friend to sleep although the vet made it easy and simple for him. I didn't want him to suffer any longer. Decision made and never looked back or had regrets that it was the right choice to make.

Hi GH, Sorry to read of the loss your furry friend. Sounds like you're a person who keeps pets in perspective. As Martha Stewart likes to say, ..."and that's a good thing." Otherwise, I hope your Summer has been enjoyable so far. I've been very busy since the weather got nice back in May. Did you do a garden this season? I have and it's one of the items that's helping to keep me on the go... Speaking of on the go, I have worlds to conquer today, and I'm all ready burning day light!
