Sunday Maintenance Most females in our community receive regular Sunday Maintenance. Mine is over 3 pillows, strapped and then 5 or 10 cane stripes. Off to church and the hard pews soon bruise the stripes which usually last 4/5 days. The reasoning is to forgive the past weeks errors and to give focus for the week ahead.  |

I think the last line is the most important. I have come to realize that if the way(s) the discipline I have in my relationship stopped, I would eventually "go off the rails" so to speak. Things become more difficult, less organized, etc. My life runs much more smoothly with a routine discipline structure. And couple has to find the way that works for them.
