Did you mean aside from looking at the photo of those amazing legs on your profile? Aside from that, no. By the way, just make my mouth start salivating with the donut photos why don't ya .... sheesh!

It's standard operating procedure to have those little guys at the state fair each year. We also had some when we took the grandkids to the 'Pumpkin Patch' before Halloween. We didn't, however, decide to torture people here with a photo of them!!!!!

Thats how I felt while looking at them for days from the bus and than waiting for the rain to stop so they are out again.. and in some other occassions as well 😂😉

Yes, true that.. little triggers, something you have maybe even forgot about.. but when it happens, here they are. Those doughnuts made me think of the time and how quickly it passes, kids grow up, and I wonder if I kissed and hugged my son enough... and how innocent and playful he was, how his face was all messy from that chocolate... 🙂

 I miss the doughnuts of my youth. The small local bakeries. Apple fritters, that has fresh apples in them. And not much frosting. Now days, way too much frosting and not much apple. Raised dough, made at home ones with lots of cinnamon. Light pastry with fruits or whipped cream (real cream). With fresh made hearty coffee. My mouth wants to go into orgasm with just the thought.

It sounds wonderful, DD... tasty, and almost makes me sense the smell of baking, warmth coming from the oven, the scent of ingredients, fruits, cinnamon... used to make many things when I lived with my son, we had Sunday custom to have a full baking pan of homemade cakes or muffins, chocolate cake or apple or cherry pie... I loved to have that at the table so we can just grab a piece and move on... an absolute joy, just as you described
