Sometimes, a simple touch on the arm or cheek express more than any words.

that is because everyone is talking and few are listening, the hear but they don't listen
ExNameForUse replies on 12/8/2021 9:58 am: The thing is that listening is the most important part of communication. But listening to understand. Sadly, many listen only to respond, not to comprehend. |

There is a time and place for color photography and there is a time and place for black and white. I'm not sure that's an appropriate analogy between words and silence, but it's the first one that came to mind.
A glorious sunrise or sunset would be hard to adequately illustrate in black and white, I'd think. So much would be lost ......

ExNameForUse replies on 12/8/2021 10:02 am: You are right, Plz, there is room for everything. Many sunrises or sunsets lost their colors because there were those who were thinking they shine too bright when in color.. so they faded in black and white over time... |

As I oft have heard defended, littlest said is soonest mended.
ExNameForUse replies on 12/8/2021 10:04 am: Less said sooner mended, now I remember that saying... which is also true, though sometimes saying helps to mend better. Who knows what's the right way... |

I find that the key to understanding doesn't come from talking ... It comes from listening.
May you find that for which you search and get what you deserve.

I think one of the greatest skills is to know when to say something, or not say something, or to just put your arm around them.
ExNameForUse replies on 12/9/2021 12:43 am: You may well be right, Dave. Not each situation requires response and knowing which does and which doesnt is perhaps the wisdom itself. As DD well said, sometimes one little touch speaks more than any word could. |

when you're with the right one there won't be any confusion. Silence will speak volumes and everything that needs to be said will be said with the heart. Maybe that's just me for now, but it can be you too.
ExNameForUse replies on 12/9/2021 12:48 am: I think there is no one who could disagree with you, AA. The Right One.. sounds like a mythological creature 😊 |
