I generally prefer less obtrusive collars for day to day wear. When playing at home or wherever (dungeons or at munches) the more obvious ones are de rigueur.

Yanno, there was a time when I used to say things along the line of "What's around your neck doesn't matter, the real collar is in your mind." And it's true - a collar has no more meaning than you choose to give it, and it's no more a statement about one's position than a wedding ring is a guarantee of monogamy.
But it's also false. Collars.... wedding bands... christian crosses... swastikas... national flags... octagonal signs with red borders around a white field and some letters in them... symbols have meaning, and symbols have power. Now whether one chooses to acknowledge the meaning or recognise that power is moot, because there's no statue book here that says anything more than you want it to. (And collars got trendy, and that definitely distracted from the meaning.) But real collars - steel collars - still carry meaning to a few of us.

It is the analogy with wedding rings I had in the back of my mind when I wrote this short note about collars... I am glad you understood the intention.
Like with everything else, it is about one's own perception.
Without meaning both collar and ring are meaningless symbols that can sit just anywhere and not necessarily around someone's neck or finger.
It is why I say that it is about what someone carries in their mind and heart. Cause what they carry in their mind and heart is what gives meaning and value to a symbol. |

Brandy, as a Taurus myself I can only say that loyalty is crucial to me. I can not function and not be loyal, and without being sure someone is loyal to me. Loyalty is all about those other nice things summed up in one. It is about my personal integrity. Either you are, or you are not.
I know many say Taurus is stubborn, but I like to think that Taurus is persistent and consistent when it is about something they believe in, love, care for, or decide about. It is what makes us, apart from loyal, reliable as well |

All my collars are simply beautiful and wearing them I guess makes me radiate that beauty and grace they symbolize to me.
I have been blessed with some extremely happy, fulfilling moments in my life and I believe it is what camera has captured in these and my other photos 😊 |
