Jenny, patriarch Pavle was a very wise man, and this is just one of his wise thoughts I happen to read long time ago.
What we see in others is usually led with our subconscious, unless we are well trained, professionally, or by our own experience, then we will see more clearly, what is real, with all red flags by the road.
So often though we chose to see what we want to see, what we imagine there is, and that is when it can become very painful when reality strikes.

Love is like a cure. Even if our love isn't bringing anything to other person, as it often happens, it certainly wont poison the one who is holding it within. It is why I believe is always better to choose love, kindness, compassion... even if we don't understand certain things...

Love is my absolute favorite thing to read and write about. You're correct in saying that no one truly knows what someone else's relationship is behind closed doors. No one should judge another for their choices. Full Stop. I've only been in love twice in my life, and I was all consumed both times. It was pure joy and ecstasy, followed by the worst pain I'd ever felt when it ended. That was my experience. Everyone is different. Thank you, Ex, for the topic. I really enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing your very personal thoughts on the topic of love, M. It is the way we get to know each better, understand better and learn.
I used to believe in love, mutual, respectful, thoughtful, trustworthy love. Now I enjoy reading about it and just for that time as I read, to believe again that it is possible.
Because in reality, it is always that one that cares more, and the other that takes advantage of it.
