The truly intelligent person is one who can pretend to be a fool in front of a fool who pretends to be intelligent.

Their whole life was spent searching for meaning, assembling a life mosaic, trying to understand...

That's why blogs that are, shall we say, 'too deep' shut my brain off. Too many people tend to overthink too much, reminding me of the term 'Analysis to paralysis'

I couldn't agree more. Most of the time my eyes cross half way through the blog and my brain gives me the 'next blog' signal.

I am aware of the fact that there are those who prefer surface approach, surface topics here where we are, and not something meaningful that can be opening to some authentic conversations and broadening our perceptions and understanding of different things, or that person itself that we talk with.
Blogs are very personal, even when quoting, we share what resonates with us. Sometimes it will be just a shallow fun or joke, sometimes something deeper. Of course, if the blog owner is an authentic person, and not construct of someone's imagination.
Each on their own.

It's never a bad thing to be underestimated.

No, not at all.
Gives so much time and space to observe and learn about others, and be left alone from zillion foolish approaches.

Curiosity killed the cat

Satisfaction brought it back
We all go through phases
We all prioritize, different things
We all will have are turn at both of those positions over different subjects
Ain't life grand!
I think so...

We have all been at both sides of that leash in our lives, I agree
