NO QUESTION! And is SURELY adorable, LOVE the LEGS, as well! "The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places." - Ernest Hemingway, BTW I know the "legs" in your profile picture aren't yours...or, at least that's what you said in your BLOG when you were asked... "Angel From Montgomery" I am an old woman Named after my mother My old man is another Child who's grown old If dreams were thunder And lightning was desire This old house would've burned down A long time ago Chorus: Make me an angel That flies from Montgomery Make me a poster Of an old rodeo Just give me one thing That I can hold on to To believe in this livin' Is just a hard way to go Verse 2 When I was a young girl I had me a cowboy He wasn't much to look at Just a free ramblin' man But that was a long time And no matter how I tried The years they just rolled by Like a broken down dam Chorus: Make me an angel That flies from Montgomery Make me a poster Of an old rodeo Just give me one thing That I can hold on to To believe in this livin' Is just a hard way to go Verse 3 There's flies in the kitchen I can hear them there buzzin' And I ain't done nothing since I woke up today But how the hell can a person Go on to work in the morning Come home in the evening And have nothing to say Chorus Make me an angel That flies from Montgomery Make me a poster Of an old rodeo Just give me one thing That I can hold on to To believe in this livin' Is just a hard way to go..." Bruised Orange My heart's in the ice house, come hill or come valley Like a long ago Sunday when I walked through the alley On a cold winter's morning to a church house Just to shovel some snow I heard sirens on the train track howl naked gettin' nuder An altar boy's been hit by a local commuter Just from walking with his back turned To the train that was coming so slow You can gaze out the window, get mad and get madder Throw your hands in the air, say what does it matter? But it don't do no good to get angry so help me, I know For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter You become your own prisoner as you watch yourself sit there Wrapped up in a trap of your very own chain of sorrow I've been brought down to zero, pulled out and put back there I sat on a park bench, kissed the girl with the black hair And my head shouted down to my heart "You better look out below" Hey, it ain't such a long drop, don't stammer don't stutter From the diamonds in the sidewalk to the dirt in the gutter And you carry those bruises to remind you wherever you go You can gaze out the window, get mad and get madder Throw your hands in the air, say what does it matter? But it don't do no good to get angry so help me, I know For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter You become your own prisoner as you watch yourself sit there Wrapped up in a trap of your very own chain of sorrow My heart's in the ice house, come hill or come valley Like a long ago Sunday when I walked through the alley On a cold winter's morning to a church house Just to shovel some snow I heard sirens on the train track howl naked gettin' nuder An altar boy's been hit by a local commuter Just from walking with his back turned To the train that was coming so slow You can gaze out the window, get mad and get madder Throw your hands in the air, say what does it matter? But it don't do no good to get angry so help me, I know For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter You become your own prisoner as you watch yourself sit there Wrapped up in a trap of your very own chain of sorrow... I am like some old piece of furniture..... No .... you are hardly an old piece of furniture. I knew when I saw the 'Damaged but Adorable' sign that you were drawing an analogy to yourself. We both know life has its bumps in the road and we'll all hit one from time to time. Any perceived damage is temporary and fleeting. I agree. Here's a little motivational quote for you ... Perhaps it might help. You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind. .. It pains me, and undoubtedly all your blog followers, to see the internal struggles your words convey. OK .... I'll shut up now. Make Women Female Again
