SPOT on, Ex! TOO many in the world try pushing people around (not just in the Lifestyle), in the ways you listed and more! I'll take it the first couple of times they pull that crap on me, but after that, they need to BACK the F#*k up off of me...

most agree but there is a fine line between abuse & joking…the joke can be misconstrued as abuse!

BDD, I hope your day is going well and you can enjoy a proper meal after having dental issues solved.
I believe if my gut tells me that something is wrong about a joke, it probably is.
Always possible to as for explanation, for sure, but if the explanation is that I am too sensitive, it is a very good sign that someone is gaslighting me and that my gut was spot on. |
