The calm

Body wracked with shivers. Shivers of anticipation, fear and excitement. Yearning to let go and reach the state of euphoria that is written about. The bonds within the mind compete with those that tie the limbs down. Closed eyes , heart pounding, whispered words speak to the heart. “Let go, let go, let go” Chants echo within the mind. Body wracked with shivers, stroking fingers steal the response from the body. It rejoices for but a minute, before the feelings retreat and the mind seeks greater stimulation than it has received.
