The flame within

The starved traveller trudged on, its destination seeming further and further away. It sought the comforts where it could, and this helped stave off the weariness for a time. The traveller found a tiny flame within, which helped warm its soul, its tinder was the kinds words from the people it met along its journey. The traveller often laid beside this tiny flame, when it had been battered by the cold winds of life, often frozen the bone, unsure if it would ever reach its destination.
