Emotions The emotions got the better of it. They clouded the mind and lured the heart into wanting what it could not have. It yearned for a life where love made the submission that much sweeter. The acts born out of love and desire to truly see your partner fulfilled and content. It had been content for a while with what it had and what it gave, grounded in idealism and harsh realities. It played the game, one that it knew within its heart it could not win, for the opponent was well versed and highly skilled. He whispered to the mind and the words trickled down to the heart. My worldly scholar painted a picture of what could be, and it allowed itself to dream for but a few days. It confused possession with a cherished object, believed that it was unique instead of unremarkable. The light of the day shone its light and it managed to fit all those pieces back into its box. The cautious heart once again under control and the levelled head rationalizing its experiences and making notes for the future. Xoxox |

Having emotions and realities in sync is not often a rare occurrence like Jupiter and Saturn aligning to be the star seen on Christmas Eve by the wise men. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

mmmmm to sleep, perchance to dream. Freedom the dream brings is exhilarating. spending a lifetime lost in a moment, heart racing, breathtaking ecstasy. lost in a lovers eyes that i know will become lies. White knuckle passion until the unwilling blood slowly returns and calmer thoughts prevail awake and sad but smiling at the moment we had.

My emotions usually get the best of me and i've found them to be the most memorable. Bad paraphrasing?..to have loved and lost is better than to never love.
