Desert She thought she had found refuge in the blinding light that drove all the shadows away, but she quickly realized that while warm and secure for a while, the sands under her feet continually shifted and she unable to build a strong structure that would support them. Just as the walls would be built, the sands would shift again and they would come tumbling down. Impatient with the progress, the builder left to find something more solid to build on, and the sub once again left to find refuge in the shadows. |

Very poetic, it really does capture the image of the continuous struggle to survive in such a harsh and unforgiving landscape, such as we do. The rains will come, followed by warm sun making the desert bloom again. When it does, you’ll find another out walking and exploring amongst all the wildflowers and you’ll connect. Until then, light a little fire to keep the deeper shadows at bay, and poke your head out every now and then to look up at the stars in wonder.

To quote words from a song, "the wall come tumbling down" at surprising moment. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"
