cool and sophisticated

Cool and sophisticated you are. Your presence in the room demanding. It calls to my most inner cravings to submit and yet the fear to do so is an ever present battle. Vanilla me scoffs at the sub within, afraid to speak, afraid to act, afraid of the rejection she assumes is on the of your tongue. She is tired. Mentally tired. Tired of waiting for the what ifs, and fighting against the other side of herself. For she is cool and sophisticated too.

 I think there are always struggles in giving up what is most precious to another person. But there is beauty in the attempt, when with the right person and a good connection is found it is glorious and worth the internal torture. That said, balance is key, in all things, we have to remember our power and why we hand it over, but never forget that it is OURS.
