The assassination of dreams She had so many dreams that she had cultivated throughout her journey. Some had come to fruition, while others had crashed and burned before they could take flight. But you, my love, were the ultimate dream. The dream that she had tried her hardest to protect. When she felt that dream begin to crumble through her fingers, she would gently place it down and work hard to find a way to put it back together. Although she allowed temptation to lure her down different paths she rarely travelled far enough to loose sight of you. She was both blind and deaf to words of reason from others and often fought her own impulses to leave you behind. However, never in her life would she expect the assassination attempt to come from you. She was not strong enough to withstand the attack and knew that is was a matter of time before it was all gone. Wrapping her arms around it, and sheltering it with all she could, she silently waited for the bullet to shatter what remained. |

The title of this blog speaks for itself... I am so sorry... so many killed, broken dreams... could they be brought to life again I wonder and wonder...

I think that’s the beauty of love.... we always look for ways to bring it back. I don’t know where my little sub will go or do next, but she is a dreamer, so I have hope.

Beautifully written and the sentiment is utterly palpable in the last two entries. But in the telling of this you are showing your strength and a clear knowledge that you deserve the love and the dream. Knowing that is more than half the battle.
