Renewal The sub was exhausted. She had faltered too many times and both her heart and soul were shattered. She looked to get away from it all and for a place that would shelter her as she healed. She set her sights on a small island where the sun would warm her and hopefully reignite her flame that had been extinguished. The smiles of the local people would heal the cracks to her soul and the laidback atmosphere rejuvenate the body. She would return somewhat whole and ready to make decisions on where to go next. The pieces of her heart would be tucked away in a box to be re-examined when she had some more tools to deal with it. Much love to all who read. The sub is a fighter, and as she may at times come across as a small , she is very much a woman. She has many responsibilities that will not allow her to stay down for long, and as we have learned, she’s a dreamer. While her dreams may at times appear too large to ever come to fruition, it is the process of dreaming and the slim chance of even a part of them coming true that keeps her going. I shall let you know if I run into her on the island.... Stay safe and remember kindness doesn’t cost us anything. Lisa Mac |
