Full Refund

I should ask for a full refund for the hours and days I spent discussing our future.
I should ask for a full refund for the hours I spent worrying about you and your well-being.
I should ask for a full refund on the time spent trying to figure out what I did wrong.
I should ask for a full refund for the hours spent crying and mourning what I thought we had.
I should ask for a full refund for the hope you inspired when I had just gotten comfortable without.
I should ask for a full refund for the lack of closure you gave me.

Instead, I place my fake smile on and pretend that nothing is wrong.

 I feel for you, I think everybody's been hurt one way or another. The only advice I can give you is to look before you leap next time and looked again and again until YOU'RE happy with the situation.
As my own Nanna used to tell me the book might look pretty but you never find out what it's like until you've reached the end.
