A number of so called Dommes include their phone number and Whatsapp in their messages and ask me to call them up. It'd be suspect in itself coming from a complete stranger, but yet more because I get a lot of messages almost identical.

I try to delete a response and my whole blog disappeared... Here we go again... How many times have you seen this in Dom's profiles?? I know. Plenty. I understand the frustrations of talking to someone who just doesn't seem right.. Something is off.. The perfect picture, the ability to convey a coherent thought, or the the sentences running together with no punctuation, or no info.. Of course these are all clues... It seems logical that the majority of scammers would try and attract the male Dom's. Try and lure them in with the beautiful pics or outlandish lines about; I love sucking cock, all I want you to do is fuck me, yes I will server you Sir, after one email. I am REAL. And I have chosen to verify my identity with alt. The doubters will say being verified doesn't mean anything... I would never trust alt with my id, scammers can get verified to. But do they?? Why would they do anything legitimately? Like getting a legal Drivers License, and scanning it to be verified.. So many Dom's are aware and obviously tired of all this bullshit. They insist on face pics of subs now, but most importantly a working fucking phone! And no excuses about it not working... Many want video calls in a short time to see if you are a actual woman. Have you heard the phrase "approach determines response"? Just think about it a second. Every time I see a Dom complaining about a "real sub" it irks me. It puts me a bit on the defensive. I even tried defending myself a few times. And several times Dom's refused to acknowledge my message. Like I wasn't legit, or wanted something from them. These bots, scammers, whatever you want to call them are relentless. But please continue to report them to alt and block them... Ohh and yeah.. Great blog. One of my biggest complaints about Alt is the number of scammers posing as Doms/Dommes. I note the variety of ways I’ve been asked for compensation in my profile. I have asked the few Dommes that I know are legit and they all say roughly the same thing, “Don’t give money!!” If a Dom/me isn’t willing to spend the time to get to know YOU, that’s a flag in my book. The D/s relationship is just that...a relationship and like any relationship it should take time to cultivate and build trust. But I I’ve been on Alt for years and can count on one hand the number of interactions I’ve had with seemingly legit folks, so maybe I’m not the best one to be giving advice. 😝

Yes there are. I have met many over the years. Alt had more of a sense of community years ago. The regional rooms wer very active. I met folks at muches and dungeons and fetish flea markets. Lots of interaction then. Now, not so much. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

The fakes give the true lifestylers a bad name. There are a lot of flakes, fakes & phonies around. I find success with likeminded people at social gatherings. Covid has changed that for me and I miss those events such as The Fetish Ball in DC
