A tribute... ~ Since I can't trust alt not to delete or edit my words. I will repeat this blog in comments~ To my ex Dom Robert who is unresponsive, in a hospital waiting to die... Ohh how I have loved this man, my Dom! My tears and sadness know no bounds right now... So... I try to focus on the good times. All the years and so many good memories we shared together. And wishing things would have ended differently for us. Because again, I realize how much I truly loved him! And I hope with all my heart he knew that? I spoke with him 2 weeks ago. We laughed and joked like we usually did. He sounded good, like he was responding to his newest treatment. I am so grateful I had that last conversation with him... This man suffered tremendously in his last few years. But he always stayed positive no matter what! And I always admired him for that.. His courage and bravery was evident everyday. Kiss or hold your significant other a little closer today or the next time you see them... Because our lives are precious, especially with the ones we truly love... I will always love you Robert! There is a place in my heart for you forever!   ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

Family member, friend, spouse or significant other, we never know when will be the last time we can ever talk to them, hold them, laugh or cry with them. Enjoy them with all you have while you have them, remember them the way you need to when you don't, hoping that they are in a better place for them after that. Loss is never easy.

Amazing sentiments and fully understood only by those people who have felt a similar loss. No-one ever said life was fair, but sometimes it just plain sucks!

I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now. But the sheer fact that you are so hurt means that you are also so very capable of love on a level few would understand. He sounds like an amazing person and the world needs more people exactly like that.......At times like this my vocabulary fails me and I struggle to find the words.
