Yesterday I heard a new word that describes this last year living with the pandemic.... It's "languishing"... Basically I will describe it as going through the motions, not making progress, feeling blah, not really depressed and wondering if you are all right? What a perfect word to describe such a shitty period of time we have lived in. I love the sexy pics and whimsical phrases like everyone else. And I post many myself... But it's not reality. It's not substance. It's not everyday life. But laughter is! It's always there for you to see the absurdity's of life. Or even to just laugh at yourself when you do something stupid. Not only that but laughter can really help to relieve stress. In addition to having tremendous mental and physical benefits, such as relaxing the body and mind, supporting a properly functioning immune system, lowering blood pressure and improving mood. Just to name a few.. It doesn't matter what kind of comedy makes you laugh. Personally, my favorite is the nastiest, raunchiest, comedy out there. Where I am doubled over and actually snorting because I am laughing so hard! I love laughter... And I don't know about you? But I need more of it! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. The World Health Organization, W.H.O., is concerned that dogs will catch the virus. Therefore, they have ordered all dogs worldwide to be placed in quarantine for 14 days keep the dog safe from the virus. In 15 days, dogs can be released from that quarantine. Then, we can sing "W.H.O. let the dogs out"?

I watched tons of stand up comedy as soon as the shelter in place order started last year.

I know what you mean......I watched one of my favorite Mel Brooks movies this weekend, Young Frankenstein, and it brought true laughter.
