The therapeutic beauty of a tattoo.... See Below.. ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

The other day I wrote about huge tits and all the wonders of breasts in general... Because there is not a woman alive who does not identify with her breasts! But what happens when cancer or some other illness takes that choice away from you?? When in order to stay alive one or more of your breasts have to be removed... Which is the definition of a Mastectomy; just in case you weren't aware of that... Maybe you know someone who's breasts have been removed? My aunt in Wisconsin is one of them.. Now, I doubt she will ever get a chest tattoo.. But after many years she is comfortable about her decision not to get breast reconstruction... Which is a serious question to ask yourself if it happens to you... Are you willing to accept the fact complications can happen for such a invasive surgery? Numerous articles state breast reconstruction can be a very intense, long, and painful process... Mastectomies become a physical and emotional trauma for any woman... And those us who are not ill or have breast damage should remember how lucky we are! The beauty of a Mastectomy tattoo is that it gives a woman a way to take back control of her body... And I don't know about you? But these tattoo's and woman who posed for them are absolutely beautiful... And I totally admire their acceptance and courage!! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

I remember the stories of leaking silicon when the implant went wrong. I like the smiles a woman wears much more that the teat that stands out. That was brave of these women to not go the implant course which, I think caters to the male desires more that the female needs. I have seen all body tattoos that are fascinating. I have known two women that have given away their breasts for medical reasons. They never acted or looked deformed. One only lost one breast and stuffed that pocket of her brassier with soft cloth the create symmetry. The tattoos look wonderful. I have they have mates that provide them with love and care and support their desire to live and thrive in this world. The blackest lie is a partial truth that leads you to the wrong conclusion.

My Mother had mastectomy's. She did not do any reconstruction. One of my dearest friends had a partial mastectomy and she has special foam prosthesis she puts in her bra to look balanced. She wears one piece bathing suits to look balanced. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

pac This is such an important topic as I know women who have had to had mastectomies I agree - the breast tattoo is a wonderful idea for those who are comfortable with it A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. I am not a fan of tattoos normally, while understanding of course that it's the individuals choice. Of course if it helps them with what they've been through, then thats great. My mother had a mastectomy, I can't imagine her ever having a tattoo though!
