WTF is happening in our society?? At the Korn Ferry Open Wichita Qualifier golf tournament, not only did sparks fly, but fists flew as well.... Where one player was arrested and another was interviewed by police because he was pressing charges for assault. You can't jump on a guy when he has his back to you because your pissed! Which is what happened... And this " brouhaha " ( love that word by the way) initially was started because of poor and slow play, and the fact one player would not help another player look for his ball.... Looking for other players balls is just something you do when your playing in a golf group. We do it to keep playing at a good pace and to not keep the group behind us from waiting.... When your not getting along with people you are paired with, these minor issues can be become major issues fast.... Then add in the Father who was caddying for the son. When the third player attempted to stop the fight, the Father held up the putter to him. Which is suppose to universally mean; not your fight/ don't get involved... Well... damn, I had no idea.. So... you do learn something new everyday... Our country is like a pressure cooker... The least things setting people off. The violence towards each other is at historic levels after emerging from this pandemic. And if it's effecting the game of golf, hell it's everywhere.... ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

Too many people are simply arseholes, and again, put simply, too many of these arseholes have the bully pulpit . They are allowed to shoot their mouths off with no pushback. Leading to an increase in aggression, threats and ultimately to violence.

Everyone needs to check their emotions at the door. Take a deep breath and just walk away.

I'm not finding any video on this, too bad. The visual of the jumping on someone's back gets the mind wondering. In the world of Extreme Sports, I would bring in full contact golf and bowling. Now that would be entertaining.

Well, Pac, you have inspired me... I might use my best golfing joke for my next blog post, if the effing things ever works again... (I certainly won't be posting any pictures!)
