Have you heard the word "commercial" used in another way? Or even the term "lot lizard"? Any truckers out here probably have.. It used to be a woman who worked the truck stops sexually satisfying the truckers.. Years ago in my vanilla life I dated a trucker for a bit.. It's quite a interesting story how we met.. Mmmm maybe another blog? Anyhow... I made several cross country trips with him.. When we stopped at the bigger truck stops to fuel and shower, the cb radio goes crazy... And all of a sudden you might hear a female voice say, anyone looking for commercial? I really haven't thought about it in years... Until yesterday... I am in the bathroom at a Love's Truck Stop when 2 ladies walk in carrying packages of wipes.. No purses, just wipes...  Now... I know it could be something else, but I doubt it... So... Is it a coincidence? Or is the oldest profession still alive and well at truck stops?? ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~

While I don't drive a truck, I have heard from people who do that it still goes on. Although usually it is the drivers looking rather than the women advertising.

Is the oldest profession still alive and well at truck stops? My best guess would be that it is, although some truck stops try harder than others to discourage it. A truck stop is far too large of a captive audience for working girls to pass up. They learn to outsmart whatever countermeasures a truck stop might employ to stop them from being on the lots. It works for them and it works for the truckers who engage with them. No harm, no foul. That's pretty much how I see it too. Make Women Female Again

Years ago, I used to drive daily by a crack smoker "community". One day, I say a pretty girl with all the curves in the right places wearing only a white skirt. By all accounts, a middle class girl next door. She approached the roadside and, immediately, a truck stopped and she jumped in. Months later, I saw her again: she had become just another crack zombie, no curves, just skin and bones. I wonder if she was still getting truckers to finance her nasty habit.

I could never do something like that, but I must admit that the idea of getting paid to do something that I love doing (so much more than my real job) may have crossed my mind for just a brief moment a time or two.

Has anybody heard of sex trafficking? Not likely these girls are in it just for fun. Also most women (at least those that survive the life) end up with pretty severe PTSD or alcohol/other drug addictions.
