For those who give a shit!! pac went too Urgent Care today and tested negative for covid, and Streep throat... pac still has some sort of nasty chest symptoms or a vicious cold... Whatever it is... ?? Can't remember being this sick for years... Now.. pac waits for the real meds too start working... Since OTC didn't really help... ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

Sounds to me like a bad case of the flu, but I am NOT a doctor, as I am sure you have guessed by now! Obviously if you still feel like shit, you should still isolate of possible.... Hope I am not teaching my granny to suck eggs but it could be a false negative. One thing I was always told... If you have a bad sore throat, to alleviate this, gargle with some soluble aspirin rather than use those throat lozenges that you need to suck. (Brand names are Lockets and Soothers in the UK... dunno what the names are across the pond) And, as with most ailments, plenty of fluids to keep yourself well hydrated.

Get better pac!!! Covid has put so much baggage into getting sick. My witches cure is vitamin C dump (1000 mg hourly) with lots of fluids. "Gonna flush that cold right out!"

Hopefully it wasn't a false negative. If you were vaccinated then it is most likely just a cold flu. It sucks being sick. I know it puts a damper on my horniness. Please get better real soon so you can provide more posts for my sexual desires. Yes, I know, how selfish of me.

I'm so glad it's not Covid but sorry you're feeling so bad. Please take care and rest as much as you can. My two cents.....stay hydrated even if it is only popsicles.

Glad to hear you tested negative. Because I often get a sinus complication when I get a cold or flu type virus. So I try to avoid getting these things, or control them fast if I do catch them. I find Garlic works very well for me, either eating foods with Garlic, or taking the odourless tablets. I haven't had to see the doctor for antibiotics for a bacterial sinus infection in years. It used to happen quite often. Anyway, just a thought as I find it works well. Hope you feel better soon.

pac I am glad you sought help when you weren't improving! It is great you do not have Covid and hopefully, the meds will fix you very soon! A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny
