The NFL isn't playing around.... Even though some players are.... Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens QB, who just returned from a day covid quarantine, for the second fucking time, said he still wants more information about the vaccine. On tv as he was asked point blank about getting vaccinated he said "we shall see" , he will discuss it with his team... Are you kidding me?? Obviously, getting covid a 3rd time is in play for Lamar... pac does not give a fuck about Lamar. But how do you think his teammates feel?? If anyone gets covid from Lamar, or a game is suspended or better yet forfeited, guess who's going to care? You know it; Lamar... Because his reputation and career will certainly be at ris.. Now let's go to Kirk Cousin's, QB of the Minnesota Vikings... Who sounds like the biggest idiot around as he tries to justify not getting the vaccine. For one he has talked about surrounding himself in plexiglass for protection, so he would not get covid, huh? WTF? He was dropped by a hospital, who had a sponsorship deal with him, over his vaccine stance. Kirk's deeply religious father who has a congregation in Florida, stayed open during the pandemic with no kind of mandates to attend his church. Which at least explains some of his beliefs... As a Packer backer I could care less about these QB's.... We would love to win games where we don't even have to play... Here's the deal though... 75% of NFL players are vaccinated right now. And it's only going to take 1 game. Where your team takes a loss because a player starts a covid outbrea.. The NFL is a strong enough entity to set the example for many in this country... So once your "vaccinated" you are totally SAFE right??? Nothing to worry about after you are "vaccinated" so who cares if other people are "vaccinated" or not its their problem not people who have been "vaccinated" and are now totally SAFE otherwise why would anyone get "vaccinated" if that doesn't make them SAFE otherwise it would be pointless to get "vaccinated" ... So everyone needs to get onboard trusting the government and do what your told even if the information is contradictory one week to the next- don't question anything just do what your told by your betters....

Pac I'm just asking questions- not bashing other players personal medical decisions- I don't get the purpose of getting "vaccinations" if you are no better off than people who decline to do the same. IF the other players are scared they must not have much confidence in the "vaccines" they were injected with and demand everyone else get OR ELSE .... This is my final comment so Have A Nice Day!!!!

With the penalty of a forfeiture of a game, the NFL will also penalize each player on the teams (both sides) not to be paid for that week (ouch). The team that caused the issue will also be required to pay the financial loss to the other team (more ouch). As you pointed out, the Uber "Ouch" is the game goes into the loss column and at the end of the season might result in getting to the playoffs versus watching it at home.

Yanno .... The COVID dilemma aside, I have the NFL currently placed in the 'Who Fucking Cares' column ever since they decided the USA has more than one National Anthem. They've been on thin (as in VERY thing) ice since all the kneeling started. This finally broke the ice and the camel's back. It'll be interesting to see how their TV ratings do. I suspect they will continue to plummet. Make Women Female Again

People opposed to vaccines have circulated that claim about the movie's plot widely on social media. But the plague that turned people into zombies in the movie was caused by a genetically reprogrammed virus, not by a vaccine. Akiva Goldsman Oh. My. God. It's a movie. I made that up. It's. Not. Real. No shit it's not real, who are these people who think zombies are real! What was that post that plzmeister put something about removing the warnings on things & letting nature take it's course? Problem is all these lies hamper the drive to contain this virus, putting more people at risk. In the UK. A very fit bodybuilder type guy had been skeptical about the vaccines, when he became very ill with Covid his Doctor got him to do a video promoting having the vaccine. Too late for him of course, around a week ago they announced he had died. Two other men, one a fit 51 year old, the other mid forties, both had chosen not to have the vaccine that was offered to them. They both used some of the last breaths they would ever take to tell their Doctors & Nurses that they wished they had made a different choice. Such a waste. Anyway sorry for rabbitting on.

Grieving son 'bombarded' with anti-vaccine abuse A man, whose unvaccinated mum, dad and brother died within the space of week after catching coronavirus, said he has been "bombarded" with abuse on social media. Francis Goncalves said the abusers believe him to be an actor, set up by broadcasters to spread a hoax. “People should be going to the doctor for advice on these things, but they listen to social media,” he said. All three of Francis’ relatives were scared by misinformation in regards to the Covid jab. Francis said it was difficult to counter the anti-vaccine rhetoric they were hearing as he didn’t feel he had the medical background to change their mind. He urged people to "take a step back, consider the information, consider the source, consider the quality".

Interesting comments. You're on point in the penalties that a team could suffer. The Buffalo Bills lost one player last year for the whole season to Covid in 2020. And they lost several for games here and there. For those that can absorb that financial hit, they can take that risk. But for those who are starting out, they cannot risk their career. This certainly will prey on team unity. I wonder if those same player ever get pain medication before a game or have taken any drugs to help them get on the field.
