I love you is an emotional comment. The waiting starts as the pronouncer waits for a return love you too. I find it hard to see how waiting can prove anything. Doing as a way of showing is more in line with my thoughts. I can come over to help you or provide loving care for you. If I wait for a return response I could miss an opportunity to play with someone else who willingly says: I love you. May all the lovers provide for you wants. The blackest lie is a partial truth that leads you to the wrong conclusion.

yes, without the wait, the wrong one seems to pop up. Now I enjoy waiting in some cases, like edging or obtaining blue balls. Makes the release more explosive
