Sunday's divisional tidbits... No commentary on yesterday's games... Since pac is in mourning and CANNOT be objective! Congrats to Cincinnati and San Francisco. Who are advancing t o the AFC & NFC Championship games next Sunday! Let's discuss today's games... LA Rams @ Tampa Bay This game could be challenging for TB t o win. Even with Brady being the goat. He releases the ball ridiculously quick. But he's lost half of his offense. Fournette returning will be a huge asset for Brady. As he can run and catch passes. And of course you can't forget about Gronk. But TB's near shut out of Philly and Hurts was a bit deceiving. As they even let Hurts waltz's down the field twice in the fourth quarter. Seriously cannot see TB shutting out LA for one quarter let alone three... LA has so many weapons on both sides of the ball right now. Stafford seems like the only QB who could overcome multiple interceptions. Kupp continues t o find ways of getting open for his QB. And Beckham has been a serious factor the last few weeks. The return of Akers last week elevated this already deadly offense. And quickly took back that starting role from Michael. This is the game pac could see a upset coming. LA put a hurting on Az last week. And seems highly motivated t o upset the reigning champions... Buffalo @ Kansas City Should be a slug fest for sure as both QB's scored five TD's the last time out. Will the defense please stand up! Anyhow... Allen is a big powerful QB who not only gets it done with his arm. But is capable of putting up RB numbers in any game. Though in recent weeks the offense has been quite balanced between running with Singletary. Diggs, while still the main man has conceded some of his receptions t o Knox lately. Watch this defense that always finds ways to make plays... We all know the greatness of Mahomes. Kelce and Hill will still be his two main guys. Even though Edwards-Helaire is due t o return today. pac thinks he is overrated and makes key mistakes. McKinnon has really sparked that offense. And if KC goes away from it, will it be a good play? Which KC shows up today? The one that was lite up earlier in the season. When Mahomes was playing bad and crazy. Or the team who has been focused and playing well the second half of the season? pac gives the edge t o the home team. But after yesterday... who the fuck knows? What a game t o end the divisional round! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

I feel for you, pac, I really do. Like I said previously, I'm gonna have to stay in TB's corner.

Yeah, tough loss for the Pack yesterday.

I know how it hurts, PAC. I'm truly sincere. A hug.

Pac, I feel your pain. As I said yesterday I liked a tease dropping the line to GB PK and I loaded up on it. But, that's sports betting. Today I'm leaning to Rams +3 and over 54 with KC Buff. Good Luck!

Contrary to my initial prediction, both road underdogs came into hostile territory and won. Regarding GB-SF, when the 49ers blocked the field goal at the end of the first half, I said, "This could turn out like that GB-Seattle game a few years back," where GB dominated for 58 minutes but could not expand its lead, and ultimately lost. Lo and behold, history repeated itself, and the old adage about how special team play will impact the outcome of (at least) two games per year came true once again. As I said to a die-hard GB fan after that Seattle loss, Pac, I feel your pain. I wish I could tell you that you'll get over it, but as one who is still smarting about some horrific last-second losses by my team that occurred 20 years ago, well, some of those wounds never heal. As for today's games, I have a friend from Buffalo (who happens to be an excellent blues musician) who is still smarting over "wide right," so, for his sake, I am rooting for the Bills today.

What a fucking roller coaster that rams buck game was. I think I had like 6 strokes in all. I was certain the rams were going to completely choke out that 24 point lead. Unbelievable. Buh Bye Brady.

I guess I'm joining you after our heart breaking loss. Everyone thought We should have kicked off short and made them spend time running it back. Suspect both defenses were gassed so a coin flip ends up deciding the game..... Great 2nd half though.

I'm more interested in what Rodgers intends to do. There was a lot at stake for him on a personal level. He'll be in the HOF, I don't think there's any question but like most, he wants multiple Super Bowl titles to burnish his legacy.

Thanks...although from the looks of things, SF also "owns" LAR. Last time the Rams won was back in December 2018.
