Today is the day...

When Aaron Rodgers is supposed t o make a decision about his future...

Does he stay in Green Bay or go somewhere else, (Denver) is the betting favorite. The scuttlebutt is that GB has proposed a long term QB contract that would alter the market if Aaron stays in GB...

pac suspects he will make his announcement t o the public on Sirius Mad radio. With host Pat McAfee. As he appeared every Tuesday during the season on his show. And pac heard Aaron say he would announce his decision on his show. He usually appears the beginning of the third hour. And chats for forty or fifty minutes. It's on at noon pac's time for those who are interested...

Aaron's decision also affects D. Adams tremendously. As GB is deciding about using the franchise tag on him...

pac will always be a Packers fan whether Aaron stays or goes. But all her loyalty t o Aaron will be gone if he leaves GB!

** Update** After writing the blog it was reported on NFL Network that Aaron Rodgers has accepted a four year, 200 million dollar deal t o stay with the Packers!

I believe there was some talk at Pittsburgh that he really wouldn't be worth the trouble.

I don't know where he goes but he will always be an ass in my book after his vaccine bs. I am betting he takes the money, whoever offers the most.

And I hear your comments...

Lots of drama around that player.
We will just wish him well.
Is he still dating Danica??

Ok Dave!
No... He's already broke up with another
female since Danica...

Oh S.... I was hoping the Niners might be able to pull him in for one year. GB doesn't have the defense that can match it and they do have other weapons. Just need to find that magic bullet. Paging Tom Brady, Tom Brady...pick up the Red and Gold courtesy phone please.

Ohhh kalbil…
Sorry about that.

SF’s time will come again… But now Russel is going to Denver!
Wow… lots of shit happening
in the NFL today…

I'll wait and read about his decision.

Great QB, not a person I admire.

pac369 replies on 3/8/2022 11:03 am:
Well no worries gry…
Since the story leaked it doesn’t appear
like he’s on McAfee’s show anyway.

And I know what you mean about
him as a person!

I felt the same way about Brady when he left the Patriots. Good bye, thanks for the memories.

I, for one, am glad he decided to remain in GB.
Despite winning a SB in Tampa, Brady never looked "right" in the Bucs uniform. Same with Manning in Denver, Montana in KC or Favre with [enter loser here].

pac369 replies on 3/8/2022 11:20 am:
Yeah RB!
I especially agree about Brady…
While Aaron has lost part of my trust as
a human being.
He’s still a phenomenal player and I am glad he
stayed in GB!

$200 mil/4 yr over $163 mil garranteed
Davante Adams Franchise tagged
GB was way over the cap before signing him so there are gonna be others who get the ax
interesting what record they have next season cuz they need RB OL TE & another WR to take the heat off Aaron!
also Russell Wilson was traded to Denver for boat load of draft picks...trying the LA way to the SB!
meanwhile my team chose a name that suKs donkey cock & changed the team colors...Commanders blk & gold...I’m not a happy camper or fan
Danny boy Synder seX offender needs to sell the team that he ruined!

pac369 replies on 3/9/2022 8:07 am:
All that's true bdsm...
But according to the media salary cap
issues are easily fixed. Especially with
long term contracts. We shall see though...

As far as your team goes... Maybe "change will be good" for it? All you can do is hope... Right? Because when you're a fan you're a fan regardless of what your team does... Good luck!

pac

It seems to be he is a great QB but otherwise a jerk! Is he worth it?

pac369 replies on 3/9/2022 8:09 am:
Well... great question Jenny!
His playing ability is worth it...
And hopefully he will work on being
a better person in general!

Only time will tell though...

At this point, Rodgers has made it clear that $$ is foremost in his mind and not rings. With that kind of salary, Green Bay has about negative $49M in cap space. That means they won't be able to afford to surround Rodgers with help. All they have now is Adams and that's it. I do feel sorry for Jordan Love but he is victim of circumstances.
Denver trading their future means that again, what is Denver going to do to help out Wilson?

pac369 replies on 3/9/2022 9:25 pm:
I do hear what you are saying kalbil…
The analysts keep on stressing how it’s easy
to move money around with longer term contracts.
I guess we will have to see about that.

I honestly think Denver has some good young talent.
The 2 quality RB’s, plus a few good WR’s. But your right they gave up
a lot for Wilson. In a very tough division on top of it…

Should be a interesting season this year though…
