The Green Jacket belongs... To Scottie Scheffler a humble family man from Texas. Seems like every relative was there as he walked to sign his card. Four tournament wins, including The Master's in fifty-four days! Now that's a run that has parallels to Tiger's in his early days. What pac found so endearing with him happened on the 18th hole yesterday. With a short putt for par. It seemed like all the nerves finally found Scottie. He misses the putt and rolls it a few feet past the hole. The crowd goes" ohhhh". He lines up the putt and misses again. Same scenario a few feet past the hole. Ohhh my... The crowd is stunned and mubling... After he misses the third putt again! He finally makes the fourth putt! And that's really why you want a five-shot lead at the 18th hole... Congrates to Scottie for a brilliant Master's win! Hours earlier Tiger had also got a standing ovation at the 18th hole. It didn't matter that he shot another 78. What mattered was how he persevered over the last four days! Cam Smith started out on fire yesterday. Two birdies in his first two holes. Getting within one shot of Scottie. Then back t o back boogies brought him back t o earth. Until the make or break 12th hole. His tee shot looked great in the air, until it landed, and rolled in the water. A triple bogey later, his chances of catching Scottie were all but gone. It took him a few holes t o regroup after that. But he finished with back to back birdies on 15 and 16 and par's on 17 and 18. A tie for third is nothing t o be ashamed about... Of course as all this was going on Rory McIlroy was putting on a show for the patrons and history book. The roars of the crowds could constantly be heard while Scottie and Cam were playing. A boogie free round consisting of six birdies, a eagle, and the classic hole out from the bunker on 18 will be remembered for a long time. Rory did not even make the cut last year! And pac has seen him struggle mightily at many majors. Just goes t o show you. You never know when it's going t o be your day on the golf course! Loved this years Master's. And while the last couple days of bets weren't that lucrative. The first couple days made up for it... ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. That was a great tournament. Didn't know much about Scottie, but I like him. Oh, and his wife is hot. Lol. Sorry Rory didn't get closer, but maybe next year. Would love to see him achieve the career grand slam.

I think the thing that amazes me about tiger is that he has never missed a Masters cut in 22 starts as a pro.

Scottie is on a hot streak, that's for sure, hope that he can continue it. I'm sure on the 18th, he was just so relieved and drained, that he was just glad to get it in the cup. Too bad Rory can't play all 4 days like he did yesterday, he is deserving of a green jacket. And on 18, sure Tiger had a bit of a limp, sure he was out of contention, but he did compete, and complete this year's Masters, and will participate in The Open too, I can't wait.

that was impressive!

He was so calm and steady all tournament, I first thought he was fucking with the crowd to create some extra suspense. They raised the purse on this event to 2.5 mill for the winner. That could definitely cause some knee-knocking on a finishing putt.

Glad you had a good time watching the tournament. "Putt it again, Sam." - The Other Bogey

Rory put on one hellofa show yesterday. But Scheffler stayed the course and like the no1 ranked player should he took it home. Definitely was an exciting Master's to watch.

TX boy did REAL good & is on fire but it won’t last forever thou he’s on fire now from his first PGA win a month ago & his first major this weekend netted him $2.6M & definitely was nerves at the end! l remember Seve Ballisteros up by 4-5 strokes blow the British open on 18 yrs ago started off the tee & got worse & worse as he went on & lost by 1 also remember Greg Norman doing something similar at a major but held on to win by 1! Tiger back in golf is very good for the sport when he’s fully recovered he’ll be back in contention again amazing what he did do under his condition in so much pain & the weather it affected his short game still he made $43.5K! Tiger saved reinvigorated reinvented rewrote golf & was miles ahead of legends still playing when he was younger & dominate l hope he can get it all back & over take the golden bear...lotta torque he puts on both knees & back to generate so much power & distance from his perfect swing! just think thou lF you make every cut but come in last every tournament you’d still make 7 figures!
