Hey dude, your a asshole! Yesterday afternoon pac ran to a Dollar General store instead of going into town. As she parked she saw a piece of shit car with all the windows closed except one. And hanging out of that window was a black labs head! She can't believe she didn't take a picture... Let's remember it's over 100 degrees. And some asshole brings their with them t o leave it out in the car... Unbeknownst t o pac the man was checking out as she walked in. When she reported t o the clerk about the dog. He says omg it's over 100 out there, and hurried with me t o walk outside. Where we saw the previous customer. pac yells at him "If she ever sees him leave this in a car again, she will report him" So... what does this asshole do? He walks the cart back t o the front of the store. Because why should he be concerned about the dog? So pac goes "wtf is wrong with you? it is cruel and inhumane t o leave a in the car in this heat". "You are a fucking asshole", and whatever else she said was a blur... pac was so angry! He just looked at her and never said a word. Because what could he say t o justify his actions? It was at this point that pac noticed the kn*fe he was wearing on his belt! Don't be this guy or dare pac say female! If you don't want t o care for a animal properly. Don't have one! It's as simple as that!! ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

Nothing gets me boiling to overdrive, than seeing people neglecting their pets! Glad you said something, but damn girl, you also need to be careful. If he cares nothing for his pet, one can only shudder of his concern for his fellow humans. On a lighter note... It is AN Asshole... Sorry, could not resist!

Please continue to stand up and be heard. Thank you for trying to protect the animals who are abused - by those assholes who clearly do not deserve to have an animal to care for. Stay safe. (PS typo in your title... "You're an asshole" instead of 'your'.)

While I understand you, Pac, and being fury about the gesture of leaving a poor animal out in the heat, please be careful next time and try to call somebody, the police, or shop security and report the situation... there are too many lunatics wandering around without supervision and taking proper meds...

Sadly so true, thankfully he didn't go full psycho on you

Well done!! Defending the helpless. But one must have situational awareness when confronting the unknown, those that are abused, neglected, downtrodden or otherwise helpless cannot afford to lose a champion whether they be animals, children, homeless, spouses, or elderly. Always look for cameras and try to move incidents into video angles not only for your safety but proof of their abuse. Keep on keeping on you are one of the few.

Totally agree Pac, but at least this arsehole had a window open. I have seen some dogs locked in cars with no supervision or windows open in the heat of summer. It's as bad as leaving kids locked in cars. The arseholes don't deserve to have a pet.

Thanks for standing up for that dog.

pac Well done! Such people do NOT deserve to have pets but should be in jail for Animal Cruelty! A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

You did the best you could in that circumstances. Unfortunately, one has to be very careful these days addressing strangers, as so many people are on the edge and can be set off by even the smallest of frustrations. A few years ago, we were at a hotel what had certain sections (not ours) reserved for pets. Across the hall from our room, there was a barking dog that a guest had just left behind. On my way out for a few hours, I complained to the management not because of the barking, but because of the cruelty to the dog. Management said they'd address it. When I returned, all that had been done was the appearance of a "do not disturb" sign on the door with the barking dog. This time, I called management and said that I was going out for an hour and that if it was not dealt with during that time, I was calling Animal Control and have THEM deal with the dog owner and the hotel. By the time I returned, the guest and the dog had been evicted. Animals need us to stick up for them.
