California Getting Wet and Wild

Bomb cyclone sitting off California coast. Severe storm hitting California right now. Level 5 storm event. Here’s to all the residents and creatures about to go through it. Strong Atmospheric River to bring severe weather, widespread dangerous flooding, damaging winds, mud slides, power outages, hazardous travel.
That’s just the beginning. The National Weather Service Prediction Center sees conditions shaping up for a conveyor belt series of these storms through mid January. This could be the big one!
Cali, stay safe, shelter in place, have a plan and a backup plan!

 Were they having drought conditions with lakes and reservoirs for the last few years? Seems it was like the whole western area? Lakes and reservoirs were drying up?? Any chance this might help or just to much to soon at one time????
