Early, Early hump day We had an early launch this morning of what is called Crew 4. This launch is carrying 4 astronauts to the International Space Station. I am so fortunate that I live where I do to witness such advanced technology. I've lived here since the beginning of the Shuttle era and saw the first Shuttle launch. Now we have the ability to bring the rocket booster back to either a drone ship in the ocean or right back to a landing spot at the launch site. It never ceases to amaze me the talent that lives right here in my backyard. The launch picture is from this morning, the other two are previous mission pictures.

Not only that you have peacocks, but rockets too... which has reminded me of an Elton John song Rocket Man and the TV series and its final scene that ends with that tune... Californication... and my ever favorite quote "Till the fucking wheels come off baby..."... funny order of thoughts though ... thanks HJ

I used to watch the Apollo launches on TV, everyone did, practically. Now launches are so common, they barely get news time, In a way it's a shame. Then again, disasters aren't the best things to watch live. Maybe that's why coverage was set aside.
