Is it really just a kiss? There is an old song from the movie Casablanca with a verse saying: "You must remember this A kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh The fundamental things apply As time goes by And when two lovers woo They still say, "I love you" On that you can rely"........ It got me thinking just how important a kiss can be. I'm not talking about that kiss on the cheek or the one you get from your Aunt at Christmas time. I'm talking about that kiss that only two lovers can share. It's an intimate act showing love or possibly lust but is all so important to the relationship. A kiss that lasts the test of time.  |

When it lasts it's great. I think the verse means that kisses and sighs soon fade as the fundamentals in life take over after 2 lovers part and times go by, even though the memories, (play it Sam) linger.

IMHO...for me the kiss is everything it all starts & ends w that slow tender long passionate spark igniting body tingling kiss OR it simply goes nowhere!
