Broken Dear Sir, I would like to share a little poem with you. I experimented with the concept of "being broken" in a quite literal sense. This is no reflection of my current state of mind or compensation, just artistic licence. Please feel free to give me feedback and if you would like to see more content of this kind (probably with lighther subject matter). ============== Broken ============== I see me lying on the ground, broken down to pieces The past now only a blurry vision, hard to catch Is it me or my reflection that I'm looking at? And can time reverse to mend the cracks? Setting all small pieces back together, Taking care not to miss a single one Looking at the scars between them, Hoping that they decorate me well Merging with my own reflection Finally back to One again But sand keeps flowing Through the cracks Diminished Broken Lost Me |
