A man with a gun tracked down Kavanaughs home to kill him. Senators immediately have passed legislation so that cannot happen again and it is on bidens desk for signature. |

Posted this in another blog post earlier, but it fits here too. The NRA has a long reach, and the gun owner's votes matter more to the legislators than saving lives. All comes down to money. NRA pays, being a legislator pays in so many different ways. They don't look at what a life is worth. No dollar signs, or cash in their pocket. And, of course Kavanaugh, is one of the inner circle. Gotta protect the brethren before protecting the public.

More does need to keep the children safe. Either give the kids the same safety you give the elected officials, or take their protection away.

There are strict gun laws already on the books, however, people don't seem to grasp that someone desperate enough to take someone's life, that person will find any means to do so. A gun is probably the "easiest" way to do the deed, in regards to distance accuracy from a distance and accomplishing that deed. With that said, if one can't find a way to get a gun, there are probably a 100 other ways to accomplish the task. Maybe not as safe for the one wanting to do it, but well... Will stricter gun laws really keep someone from achieving their goal, it seems not. Just my thoughts.
