Brittney Griner Brittney Griner concealed cannabis oil inside vaping containers and was arrested by police in a russian airport. She went to trial and pled guilty. Why should the U.S. gov't get involved . . Didn't she ever watch the TV show, locked up abroad? Let's be real here, those vaping containers didn't load the illegal cannabis oil by themselves. Brittney knew full well what she was doing was illegal . . It's illegal here as well. I think our gov't has far more important things to do than to defend a person too stupid to do the right thing and leave her drugs at home. She needs to stop whining an do her time. |

I do have one question, how is it that the drugs passed through the U.S. airport of her originating flight to russia.

Sadly, she and others seem to think that she is special. See what this country will do to those that live in fantasy land instead of reality. She's getting a helping handful of reality, hope she likes it. Most countries will show people just what they are, another person, no on special.

I agree 100%. These people think they are special and can break the laws of other countries and get by with it. She can rot in a Russian prison as far as I care.

She knowingly played the odds and lost. She is young and privileged and made a bad choice. Its not a terrible crime, but it is a crime in the country where she got caught. Do the crime, do the time. I don't think the government should be focused on this matter. There are far far more pressing problems to deal with. I hope her time in jail is minimal and she is released soon with a lesson learned.

When LiAngelo Ball got caught shoplifting in China, President Donald Trump got him freed. Brittney Griner is currently spending time in a Russian prison, and so far, I do not see Joe Biden doing anything to help her out. And why should he? Black people here in America will continue to blindly vote for Democrats even when the Democrats do nothing for the blacks besides make empty promises. Actions speak louder than words, and I do not see anybody taking any real actions to get Griner released from prison.

It so upsetting to see ABC Nightly News cover Brittney Griner like she is a Major Headline story. It is just ridiculous. Sorry to vent but it is her own fault and why should we care?
