If aliens ever need the earths resources, we're screwed. Otherwise, why WOULD they bother with us with all the screwed up shit we do as a race of beings?

I'd say that's more than a little tongue in cheek. Check the ingredients: "Super smooth, prepared with British potatoes."

Does that mean we can expect a MR. PLANT HEAD next?

Torn between laughing at the silliness or crying at the idiocy realization

Right? Someone wrote it and an executive authorized it.

As long as it sales, everything is permitted.

No matter how stupid, ignorant or just plain a lie!

It's from ASDA who are owned by Walmart..... no further explanation necessary.

That is how I feel about most American marketing. And you can take Marketing and get a BS Deree in this lunacy. Talk about student loan forgiveness.

Although needed in some areas of the world, not true in the USA.. My hat off to the capitalist that talked people into buying water... That dude was brilliant

Then again, with supplied water to homes these days being so full of crap, bottled water to drink is almost a necessity.

Well, one hopes that this is some sort of tongue in cheek comment.
I was also going to point out, as has already been said, that Asda
is owned by Walmart.

However when you have warnings of 'may contain nuts' on packets
of nuts! Who knows. I know we have to be careful about allergies,
but isn't the word 'Peanuts' in large letters across the front of the
packet enough of a clue.

I used to work in a 'No nut' food factory.
I often wondered, in that case how do they explain the management?
Never did work that one out.

Which is in itself misleading as a peanut isn't actually a nut - it's a legume (the same family as beans and peas etc,). So having peanut allergy doesn't necessarily mean you're allergic to nuts xx

You think?

I find that very surprising given, for example, your almost orgasmic fascination with James Bond....

Yes, you are quite right. I didn't think about that when I wrote the
comment. I did myself point this out on someone else's blog post,
possibly Plzrmeister's, a few months back.

It's a bit like a knowledgable person knowing a Tomato is a fruit,
but a wise person doesn't put them in the fruit salad!
