I thought there was ONE BDSM Community

There other day I was told that the reason someone didn’t like what I wrote was because they were very active in the “real life” community.
That kind of surprised me. For a couple of reasons.
1) I thought there was only one BDSM Community, not a “real life” community and an online community.
2) If there is such a big difference in “real life” and online, what are they doing online? Slumming?
Many folks in the community don’t have access to munches, and events and dungeons, especially in the US with its conservative vs liberal attitudes in many areas. These folks HAVE to turn to online to meet people and learn more about the lifestyle.
Does being online to learn and meet others make you a second class person in the Community?
I don’t think so.
I live this supposed “real life”. I have a submissive. We live the lifestyle. And we are also online even though it’s separate social media platforms. The closest Dungeon holding events is over an hour away in the middle of the week. Local munches are either over an hour away or hit or miss with weather (they are held outdoors). So I turned to online.
Obviously, I reach a great deal more people with my articles online than I could ever do at a much or local event. To which I’ve also been told what I write is obvious information.
Well gee, I never said I wrote ground breaking information. I write about basics that novices need to know and many don’t know… even though it’s obvious to the experienced individual.
The other thing that gets thrown at me is the U.K. Like the same basics don’t apply across the pond from the U.S. Facebook is a worldwide platform. If you do something different from where I live, fine. That doesn’t make what is accepted here in the U.S wrong, or even beneath your “level” of participation if you are from somewhere else.
I’ll keep writing to teach those that want to learn, I’ll keep answering questions for those that ask them and keep commenting on posts where I think I can help with my response. If you don’t want to read what I write, don’t read it. If you have a differing opinion, make it respectfully without using accusations, but be ready for me to defend my opinion or disprove yours… these are discussion groups.
The people that react positively, want to read the articles, the admin teams in the groups I post to approve the articles or trust me to preapprove the articles. Unless you want to tell these group owners they have no experience to decide what gets posted in their groups, compared to you and your experience, just ignore my posts and move on.
No one knows it all, they just think they do.
There is no ONE TRUE WAY, there are only those that think there is.
And if you are part of a small minority that wants to pile on, please don’t think I will run. The people that read and appreciate my articles out number you, so I’ll defend my writing and continue to write.
If you want to try and embarrass me with a public comment, realize you are probably showing people your true self while doing it. And if you are going to spread false statements, be prepared to back them up with proof, because I will defend myself with proof.
Because the education of the Community and the safety of submissives is more important to me than worrying about who disagrees… unless they can prove it.
Stay safe folks. We are all one Community. Safety and learning will improve the Community.

“someone didn’t like what I wrote”
It is always much easier to steal your blog and try and pick it apart and inject what they think is right. If they were not such a narcissist wanting to see their own selves in print “to look in the mirror”, they would simply write a reply to your blog and post it there. But that would not give them the attention they want. Just keep on writing what you do and let all of them make asses out of themselves for everyone to see. Their rash rationalization is comical to see. I would say read, but it’s not worth the time. Pure garbage. 🤣 😎

Then there are the ones that just steal what I write and post it under their own name, LOL

And I am so glad to see that the Supreme Court is finally getting its act together. Right, the world is a stage.
