It is part of the Dominant’s responsibility to be a guide to the submissive. That doesn’t necessarily mean to take complete control and tell the submissive how to live every aspect of their life. Guiding a submissive can take many shapes and forms, inside and outside of the dynamic. It all depends on the kind of person the submissive is. Guidance can be anything from how to conduct themselves at a BDSM event, to how to effectively pay down credit debt, to being a shoulder to lean on when the submissive has family or work issues. Guiding is about helping someone along, not dragging them along the path the Dominant wants them to follow. Believe it or not, a submissive can also guide a Dominant at times. Not all Dominants are proficient at everything in life. There can be some things that the submissive is more skilled at. Maybe the submissive should tackle the bank account and bill paying, or the submissive guiding the Dominant through the death of a loved family member, or just reminding the Dominant to relax and breathe after a trying day at the job. To some guiding is setting the tone of how the dynamic will be lived, but guidance can come from either partner and take many forms. © 3/24/24 Ronald Dirienzo

You're not a dominant. You're a sheeple of msfunfor and the liberals. Just admit it and set yourself free.

Good to see that common sense can prevail with guidance provided by those skilled and knowledgeable in a particular area independent of role. Can't imagine a Domly type carrying all the responsibility for all aspects of a relationship and life. A wise one would know his limits and use resources that are available rather than allowing ego to dictate. Just saying... "shaped by life, experiences, choices and one day by He who she will come to know as her Master"
