First meeting from this girl's perspective |

So if your anything like me the first meeting, damn you want perfection rolling out of the bed in the morning filled with excitement the moment it's been all building up to is almost here. Your spirits are high and it's just like walking on sunshine. You jump in the shower water scalding hot letting it run down your face and slowly turning to run down your shoulder blades. Scrubbing and shaving every crack and crevice meticulously even though it's only dinner looking, hoping, wanting to put your best foot forward. Stepping out of the shower wrapping your hair in a towel , moisturizing every crack and crevice you just previously shaved with something so lightly scented that it would take skin on skin to smell it. Next step is hair and makeup and we know more than likely this isn't going to go smoothly like it has the 1.5 million times you've done it before. This is where the nerves start kicking in you finally reach a look with although you might not totally be happy with your okay with it .....then on to the outfit and although you've run this through your head and tried all these outfits on they just don't seem to cut it today right....deep breath ..your bed is covered in heaps of clothes you have no time to sort and you can't find the other shoe you need to make this outfit work and fuck, ,,,,where's your car keys. Finding your car keys in the most obvious place like your purse.....run out the door jump in the car and all the self doubt starts creeping in maybe I'm not smart enough, maybe I'm not cute enough ...maybe I'm just not enough. ...... deep breath you are .....turn the music up sing along you got this, Pulling into the parking lot of the restaurant no time to be nervous now your here your doing it ...pull up your big girl panties what oops no panties,,,time to go, Looking at your cell phone he's texted that he's already here and in the parking lot which he arranged to meet you in so you can walk in together. Your counting the moments, the footsteps and committing everything to memory ...the rate of your breathing, the reaction of your body, your mind when you first spot him....when he turns to see you ..deep breath ...walk forward everything in your peripheral disappears there is only Him and that is magic and when He welcomes you with a hug you feel safety in that it's real.

Oh my, you sound lovely, a bit worried, carefully prepared, apprehensive yet excited, ready for the beginning of an exciting new adventure. I also love the idea of you carefully shaving and moisturizing every crack and crevice, ready for exploration, adoration, adventure. Lmao!...you women are so insecure & over think the fuK outta stuff... just be yourself, if a spark or connection is made awesome if not no harm no foul someone else will come along who likes you for you & everything bout you...you can’t ever plz everyone so just be yourself w o worrying what everybody else thinks of you!
