I Know This is A Day Early

To all members of our Military in all branches, past and present, living and deceased, and their families:

Thank you for your service!
Thank you for your sacrifice!
Thank you for your bravery and honor!

While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country and protect our freedoms.

Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.

Although I was not in the Armed Forces myself, I have many friends who have served, and are who are currently serving. We must never forget all they have done, and all that they do for us. They should be honored and gratefully thanked every day of the year, and not just on three...

A day early for Veteran's Day, perhaps, but today is the 247th anniversary of the Marine Corps.
Thank you Jarheads!!!

It was my duty, my privilege and my honor to serve in the USMC. Both grandpas were Army doughboys in WWI and my father served in the Army in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I am named after a Cherokee code talker from WWII.

Semper Fi to my Marine Corps brothers and sisters. I join blossom in thanking everyone who ever served. A veteran is a person who signed a blank check, payable to the United States of America, for an amount up to and including their lives.

Nice post, when I see a veteran wearing their hat I take the time to thank them for their service to our country. A few of them told me incredible stories.
