It is definitely a multi-facets of passion and behavior. So many have no clue of any of this and it is sad. For me I find it hard to keep composure sometimes due to how many don’t have knowledge of this lifestyle and think they do. Hence the rudeness of some.

 The reciprocal nature of BDSM is what is at its core. Satisfying the needs of one in turn satisfies the needs of the other. The needs are what we are sexually passionate about. This is BDSM at its simplest level. You mentioned rude behavior earlier. Those people do not have a clue. They are interlopers of the worst kind. They take. They don't give. It is too easy for a novice to fall into their hands. That is the shame of it all.
