Climate Change

I used to be sort of
embarassed by my
native American
experience and could
never get my mind
around the rain dance.
But I have to admit that
it seems a better belief
than the 25% of Americans
that don't believe weather
is a science but believe that
"God" controls the weather.

Was that left foot,

Maybe I'll play the

sci·ence
noun
the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
If you believe the above description of science, it does not control anything other than an opinion.
If science controls the weather why does it allow hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and tsunamis... such destruction? asked the curious man...

I didn't say science "controls"
weather I said weather is a
science.
A better question is if 25% of
Americans believe the weather
is controlled by God, why do
they watch the weather forecast
on TV??

It's always the "sky is falling".....years ago it was global cooling, then global warming, climate change, climate crisis, climate breakdown, global heating, environmental destruction or something else entirely depending on the narrative they are trying to sell. To me, it's climate change. If one day it's freezing and snowing and the next 75° my climate has changed. If I don't like it I can wait a little while and it will change.

Global warming is
a scientific fact.

I am sticking my nose where it does not have the knowledge to join this debate or conversation. But that has never stopped me yet from giving my opinion..

For me a 'Rain Dance' is not to summon the rain but to enjoy it. Dancing in the rain is a lot like sex.. after you are done, you feel refreshed, renewed and relaxed.

I watch the weather to see if I need a raincoat, a winters coat or a bikini to cover my body.

I agree, the weather is a science. Something observed and tracked. as well as possible with radar... which people can get on the TV and see the trend, and patterns for the weather at that time and the projected forecast for the day. Those forecasting, have no say or control other than what forecasted. It has no say about control, as it is a science

uncommon1 replies on 12/2/2022 3:59 pm:
The science of weather
goes far beyond observing,
tracking and forecasting.
The science also correlates
the factual relationship between
increase global warming and
climate change.

It may be to you, but that is your opinion. To me it is NOT! That is my opinion. There has always been and will always be climate change be it warming or cooling, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, wind storms, dust storms etc etc. Nothing anyone can do will change any of that.

uncommon1 replies on 12/2/2022 3:53 pm:
Global warming drives climate
change but they are different
things. Expert opinions are
based on facts as opposed to
your hunch.
