Demons

More important than your role
is coming to terms with yourself.
Often the worst lies are those little
ones we tell ourselves, like that we
could be normal. Hiding your darkest
craving and keeping them secret is
okay, but don't deny them to yourself.
A destiny denied, is a reality unfulfilled
and you will never be free, of the
restlessness in your soul, until you
dance with your own demons.

A slow dance is preferred.

There is a saying keep your friends close and enemies closer. This is also true with ones demons...

I guess I’ve never considered my desires to be ‘demons’ but just a part of who I am. Variety is an important part of one’s life - keeps boredom on the other side of the door. The word ‘demons’ somehow implies that I should feel guilty? Feeling guilty about pleasure somehow seems very wrong! Lol

I think that demons are simply inner aspects of ourselves that we have not yet learned to accept, respect and love. For most people it is very hard to admit that there are things inside them which they consider impure, wrong, bad or whatever. When we try to externalize them through suppression, self deception, or ignorance, we are actually creating the demon. And while at its core still part of ourselves, we have lost control over it, since we deny its existence in the first place.

You have a good grasp
on the essence of this
blog!
If you believe that there
is good an evil in everyone,
you have conclude that
there is more of one than
the other, in some of us.
