Tinker Belle and Fairy Dust . .

Gov. Ron DeSantis' move to take over
Walt Disney World's governing board
in Florida may have backfired due to
a prior obscure agreement that new
governor-appointed board members
say stripped them of their power.

If desantis can't handle tinker belle an
fairy dust do you really think he can
handle the complexities of the u.s. gov't??

desantis has also changed how u.s. history
taught in Fla. schools from actual history
to something more acceptable to racists.
He wants to come to your school district next.

Change history and you control the populous. I think that's what the founding fathers wanted

I mean, didn't want.

Jefferson and Hamilton agreed on only one thing: elect fit men (of course they meant men as women were no more than property back then). I think they would say today, elect fit people. Trump, de Santis, and others who want to bamboozle people and play to the base instincts are not fit people.

I have a long drawn out argument for this (argument as in post Real Political Debate. I will spare you that argument.

There has always been an
alternative for parents
that don't like the way
public schools teach,
either private schools or
home school. Requiring
all kids to learn racist,
anti sematic, homophobic
crap is wrong.

"do you really think he can handle the complexities of the u.s. gov't??"
And you think stumbling, bumbling, mumbling bidet does?

"Requiring all kids to learn racist, anti-Semitic , homophobic
crap is wrong." Well, at least we agree on one thing!

The amount of "meaningful"
legislation biden has done
compared to trump is speaks
for itself.
Trump highlights are; being
impeached twice, mis-handling
the pandemic response, pandering
to Russia an North Korea and
the attempted insurrection.

You may think he has done something meaningful for you.......not for me. Until the day he is out of office.....that will be the only meaningful thing he will have done.
The only thing that would be worse than the head "dufus' is word salad annie camelot. Some bad things come in pairs......stumbling, bumbling, mumbling bidet and camelot.......the modern day two stooges.

Again, data to you is meaningless. Pandering to Russia is good. An infrastructure bill is bad. Either that or you are just willfully ignorant. Again! Of course always with the name calling. The sign of a loser in an argument.

Everybody wins with the infrastructure bill. Roads, bridges, the electrical grid, water, air, etc improves. So, unless you don't drive, have electricity, running water, etc, then Biden did do something for you. Sorry, data wins again and you're shown one more time to ne willfully ignorant. Stop watch faux noise and be less ignorant!

I am not quite sure what you are saying. I am upper middle class and I can't afford a private school for my son. I also work 8 to 15 hours a day so I can't home school. My wife works 10 to 15 hours a day so she can't home school. Yup, public school is the only option.

I am not sure what you are saying with the rest of you comment. If you don't know about those things, you are bound to repeat them. That is why we teach real history not what Trump and DeSantis want kids to learn: make sure that the white kids are comfortable and screw everybody else. If that's what you meant, great. But I'm a bit confused about your comment.

I understood. I was confused by your reply. You say there is ALWAYS an alternative. No, there is not. We don't have an alternative to public school. Can't afford private school and do not have time to home school. That leaves public school. No alternative....

David does not need a permission slip. Its not obscene. My comment is that I want a permission slip for my son to be taught the new math. It was obvious (to me, my fault) that I was being absurd. I'll try and do better next time.

Nobody should have gotten fired. I hope that principle sues and wins. I hate to sue a school system as we all end up paying, but damn.... his firing was obscene not David!
