Danger Will Robinson (reply)

writing about the dangers we face in the Lifestyle.

Keep in mind that BDSM is not
a "lifestyle" it is a sexual behavior.

According to Psychology Today, people
involved in BDSM have, on average,
lower levels of PTSD than the general
population. On the other hand, there
are some people who report practicing
BDSM as a way of working through their
past trauma.

Unfortunately, there is no governing body for BDSM. Munches, training Demos and other social events don’t reach every part of the world.

Actually there is a "governing body",
it's called laws and law enforcement.
Dial 911 and make a cop cum.

Sir I don't understand why I'm a submissive tranny C D or why I'm into being a craven little BDSM slave gurl it's just who I am and I accept it👄

We don't choose this way,
off the beaten path. We
are chosen by it.
Understanding why isn't
as important as accepting.

As always, you miss the point and make up your own nonsense.
The "law" doesn't govern BDSM. It doesn't teach safety to BDSM Lifestylers. It doesn't regulate who is safe and who is dangerous. It can't keep 8 time convicted felons off the street so they don't ra pe and murder someone else. If people in the BDSM lifestyle look to the law for info on predator "doms" or abusive "doms" they'd get laughed at.
And YES, it IS a lifestyle. It is how we live, not just how we practice a sexual behavior. Not all lifestylers HAVE sex in the dynamic.
You constantly show how little you actually know about the topics you reply to.

There isn't such a thing as
a predator or abusive dom,
and the law most certainly
deals with predatory or
abusive men and women.
The law doesn't distinguish
people by their sexual behavior
when a complaint is filed.

Actually ron, I am wise enough
to know how little I know . .
I'm also smart enough to know,
who has nothing to say worth
learning.

Is BDSM truly a lifestyle? I question that. Would that not mean that BDSM defines ever minute of every day of your entire daily life? I think BDSM is just a type of sexual interplay. Does the term vanilla define a person's lifestyle? I think not.

We are always one decision
away from a totally different
life.

What is to understand? We choose it. We have freewill.

Some of us, like Brandy, didn't
choose this way, off the beaten
path but were chosen by fate or
predisposition.
"Free will" doesn't mean doing
whatever you want, it means doing
what is right.

Chosen by fate? I disagree with your definition of "Free will." It is not defined by right or wrong. What you do with it might be right or wrong.

Regardless of your definition of
free will it has nothing to do with
sexual orientation.
The relationship between biology
and sexual orientation is a subject
of research. While scientists don't
know the exact cause of sexual
orientation, they theorize that it is
caused by a complex interplay of
genetic, hormonal, and environmental
influences.
