Can a Dominant without integrity be trusted, never mind respected?

Trusting a person should only be concerned
with honesty . . Realize that a lot of what goes
on in BDSM goes against the moral barriers of
society.
Integrity is eternal and value-based, whereas
honesty is fleeting and often based on rules
and regulations. As a result, one important
distinction between honesty and integrity is
that one cannot have integrity without being
honest . . .

However, dishonesty pays—and it often pays

Unfortunately, this is true. I had a conversation where one spoke honestly about their lack of integrity... about some disgraceful acts, one being aware of doing, yet being also aware that they are beyond their control, not knowing why they keep doing them, and most probably will continue to happen.
Honestly saying lack of morals, and integrity will keep them doing what they do.
