99.6 Percent

If you're indicted by the
Department of Justice it's
important to know that
their conviction rate is 99.6%.

Approximately 97% of all federal criminal
defendants plead guilty . . .
Of those who proceed to trial, 75% are convicted . . .
Almost 99% will ultimately be sentenced.

97% plead guilty and 75% are convicted of those that go to trial..., of which 99% will be sentenced

New math?
These numbers do not add up to 99.6% with the math I was taught
almost 99% = 99.6% HOW?

uncommon1 replies on 6/12/2023 11:58 am:
The 75% convicted is of
the 3% that go to trial,
not of the total charged.

75% of 3% is 2.2% so only
.08% percent aren't convicted.

This is just basic math folks.

the 'pleading guilty ' is because of the plea bargain practice that is a direct result of not having grown the judiciary at an adequate rate to hold pace with the population .
one is supposed to be entitled to your day in court but today almost nobody gets that opportunity .
prosecutors threaten the accused with horror scenarios of how harsh they will try a person that does NOT plead guilty and instead insists on his/her day in court .
the result is the crazy high number of 'convictions' .

in the case here not mentioned , the DOJ will make VERY sure they have the goods to convict , even with a 'day in court ' .

The real pressure is being applied
to Nauta, (trumps personal aide).
They don't have to threaten him, just
let him talk to michael cohen about
what you get for helping trump.
trumps real issue is that when he's
convicted the judge will expect him to
admit his guilt and have remorse in
order to get a reasonable sentence.
Anyone want the odds on that?
