SCOTUS contradiction (Reply) So the Conservative side of the SCOTUS says you can deny service to gays under the first amendment. The First Amendment had erected a wall between church and state. Their ruling on the Colorado case allows discrimination for religious reasons. The contradiction is between the ruling and the fourteenth amendment which guarantees all citizen protection from discrimination under the law. |

A federal judge in Wisconsin declared Thursday that the US law authorizing a National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional . . So Sunday is cancelled until further notice in Wisconsin apparently.

The constitution has the Establishment Clause not a separation clause. That does not allow that wall you speak of. Why a church (of any kind) can meet in a school as long as ANY church can also use it (SCOTUS). HOWEVER, The Thomas Court in its lack of reason has said them fucking gays can be discriminated against. I'm going to start discriminating against Christians because i am an atheist, wait for a law suit, and take it back to SCOTUS.

Except if you gay! On top of the web designer didn't have standing as nobody was hurt. This is called a preemptive ruling and is supposed to be a no-no. I guess not anymore. Oh yeah, and this is just another notch in weaponizing the first amendment. Citizens United said $=speech. Really? The founding fathers said $<>speech. Opps.
